Our second trip lead us to San Francisco together with our grandchildren, who used to live in Bethesda Maryland
It was a so-called home-exchange, a retired couple from California came to our home to Budapest, while we could spend two weeks in their wonderful house in San Francisco.
We "had" a nice Victorian house…
with a beautiful garden

Excursion to the Muir Woods
We stayed in the beautiful Victorian home of Jim and Diane for two weeks,
together with our two grandsons (8 and 10 years old). Diane and Jim prepared
our stay perfectly, with detailed instructions for using the house and program
recommendations for all of us (including a baseball game). It was a perfect
venue to explore San Francisco and its neighbourhood (Muir Woods, Muir Beach,
Sausalito, Yosemite Park, etc.) and we felt like going home, returning back to
Jim`s and Diane`s house. It was a particular joy to spend time in the tiny
Japenese garden and we also enjoyed very much the art works and art books
reflecting to the worldwide travels of Jim and Diane.
